This Shipping Policy discloses the shipping practices for Granite Security Products, Inc. (GSP) dba: Winchester® Safes and WinchesterSafes.com. For the purposes of this Shipping Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to WinchesterSafes.com include GraniteSafe.com.
SHIPPING METHODS
WinchesterSafes.com utilizes multiple shipping methods and the method used is dependent of the product(s) you purchase from the site. The methods used are Federal Express (FedEX) Ground, Federal Express (FedEX) Home Delivery and Less than Truckload (LTL) Freight carriers. When using LTL Freight as a method, the carrier is dependent on the locality of the shipping address and the availability of specialized equipment to complete the delivery.
Federal Express (FedEX)
WinchesterSafes.com will use Federal Express (FedEX) Ground or Home Delivery to ship all of our Accessories and e-Vault 3.0® pistol safes. When using this method we will ship to the United States and its territories. The estimated delivery date(s) is dependent on when the order was placed and when the order was received and processed by the Web Sales Team. Other factors that may impact the delivery date are, but are not limited to: weather in certain localities, carrier caused delays, warehouse closures or GSP recognized holiday closures. Once your order is received and processed by the Web Sales Team you will be notified by electronic mail of the status of your order and tracking information, if available. The electronic mail address used for communications is the one you provide during the checkout process of the site.
Less than Truckload (LTL) Freight
WinchesterSafes.com will use various Less than Truckload (LTL) freight carriers to ship all of our safes. The actual carrier is dependent on the locality of the shipping address and the availability of specialized equipment to complete the delivery. When using this method we will ship to the 48 continental United States and the District of Columbia. The estimated delivery date(s) is dependent on when the order was placed and when the order was received and processed by the Web Sales Team. Other factors that may impact the delivery date are, but are not limited to: weather in certain localities, carrier caused delays, warehouse closures or GSP recognized holiday closures. Once your order is received and processed by the Web Sales Team you will be notified by electronic mail of the status of your order and tracking information, if available. The electronic mail address used for communications is the one you provide during the checkout process of the site.
SHIPPING RATES
All physical items listed on WinchesterSafes.com that are for sale are sold with free shipping included. We do not offer any other shipping services such as Overnight, 2nd Day or White Glove services.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Items that use Federal Express (FedEX) Ground as a shipping method will be delivered to your place of business during normal business hours. Items that use Federal Express (FedEX) Home Delivery as a shipping method will be delivered to your home doorstep. Items that use a Less then truckload (LTL) freight carrier will be delivered to the closest curbside of the shipping address. Please note that the freight carrier is not responsible for locating the safe into the residence or removing the pallet. When receiving a safe via a Less than Truckload (LTL) freight carrier you must remove the box covering the safe and inspect the safe for damages while the driver is present. All damages must be noted on the Bill of Lading for the carrier making the delivery. If the safe has noticeable damages to the actual safe, not the pallet or shipping legs, then you are asked to refuse delivery and contact us immediately.
